moving forward

Surprise, surpirse it's been another 2 years.. this page is always in the back of my mind when I think about journaling but honestly it is just easier to pick up a pen and paper (and I have started a one notebook policy at the beginning of this year which has been working exceptionally well).

So life update, I did not save enough money to buy a house by August 2022, but I DID save enough money to travel around Australia for a year so that is pretty fricken cool. I am days away from hitting 6 months on the road and am living in Darwin with my sister currently. I was so excited to get up here and now I am not sure I want to leave even though I have all of WA to still explore.

A couple of possibilities now present themselves.

Option 1 - continue the plan and leave Darwin to travel WA from Sept-Jan, SA Jan-early Feb, Melbs in Feb for Taylor Swift (yes I have tickets!!!) and then Brisbane for the Celestial Festival (more on that in a minute) then Tassie March-April before heading home (then maybe doing the Heysen Trail but I think with a friend)

Option 2 - Leave Darwin whenever I am ready (or when my sister wants to kick me out) and head down the middle of Aus back to Adelaide. Work for a month or two somewhere in the middle of nowhere to earn back some money. Then back to Adelaide for a little while before Melbs in Feb for Taylor Swift (yes I still have tickets!!!) and then Brisbane for the Celestial Festival

Option 3 - Never leave Darwin but means I need to get a job
